MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT

Responsibilities:

The ideal contractor shall be able develop, document, and unit test components within EAS-H, the archival / retrieval / display system for GNS events and alarms. Report any technical issues that may arise and the progress against the established schedule. Use source codes, executables, documentation, release notes and weekly reports to carry out deliverables.

Requirements:

1. BS in Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent formal education in related science disciplines.

2. At least 10 years of software development experience in Unix.

3. At least 5 years of software development experience in C++ and Java

4. At least 5 years of system development experience using the Object Oriented methodologies and client/server architecture

5. Experience with Java/Swing GUI development

6. Experience with message-style middleware (Tibco, JMS)

7. Knowledge of satellite ground systems is preferred.

8. Knowledge of Relational Databases, ORACLE, and SQL
