Rapidly growing technology company in Maynard, MA looking for experienced and independent self-starter. In addition to excellent programming skills, you must have good communication skills and a demonstrable history of success. Your focus will be on developing custom web applications and web services using the latest Microsoft technology (i.e. Visual Studio 2005, .NET 2.0, and SQL Server 2005).Primary Duties

This position will be responsible for the development of core and ancillary applications and web services related to the company?s core business.  Development tasks include the following:Development of web forms in C# Development of web controls in C# Documentation of solution designs Required SkillsC# ASP.NET ADO.NET JavaScript HTML, CSS, XML Service Oriented Architecture Object-Oriented Design .Net Framework Ability to function independently Ability to interact with stakeholders

 

Experience with the following technologies a plus:RSS, AJAX, Atlas

 Qualifications

?  Advanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, systems development and analysis

? Prior experience using a structured methodology

? Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle

? Demonstrated experience using the programming languages, packages and software development tools specified

? Strong verbal and written communication skills

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:5+ years of software development experience on the Microsoft Platform3+ years of hands-on experience with .Net Framework, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET3+ years of Object-Oriented Design and DevelopmentVisual Studio 2003/2005, Visual Source Safe, IIS, Windows 2000, SQL Server 2000/2005
