Senior Crystal Reports Developer

The position of Crystal Report Developer/Sr Crystal Report Developer requires that incumbents be technology literate. The Crystal Report Developer/Sr Crystal Report Developer analyzes specific report requests, gathers the business requirements, identifies the source data, and codes the crystal report. The Crystal Report Developer/Sr Crystal Report Developer also ensures that the reports meet Longs' standards and user requirements. An immediate challenge and opportunity for this position is in support of the company's supply chain re-engineering efforts; considerable enhancement/development and implementation for the company's supply chain system. As such, the Crystal Report Developer/Sr Crystal Report Developer works closely with others involved in the company's supply chain re-engineering efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related area or equivalent work experience plus college level courses in data processing field.

3+ years' crystal report development (preferably version 9 and 10).

3 years' experience with Webi.

Working knowledge of the report development process is required.

Working knowledge of concepts, principles, tools and techniques of system analysis is required.

5+ years SQL query experience is required.

Must have 1 to 2 years experience each with at least 3 of the following databases: Oracle, Informix, Redbrick, Access, SQL Server Prior retail experience.

Other experience with large scale Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing is a plus.
