The DBA will take the lead role in supporting and managing a complex system of replicated production databases as well as designing, planning, and implementing complex, advanced database projects. The DBA facilitates the recurring events of large scale data migration and import events. The DBA will represent the development organization and work closely with IT to ensure the Oracle environment encompasses high performance, reliability, integrity and recoverability. Additionally, the DBA will be responsible for developing and maintaining test and development databases and documentation for ongoing database maintenance.

Bachelors in EE or CS or equivalent work experience
6 to 8 Years Oracle DBA experience, with Oracle 8, 9i, and/or 10g.
Knowledge and experience in the following:
- Tuning and troubleshooting Oracle instances
- Building databases in different environments
- Installing Oracle on Linux/UNIX
- Writing and optimizing code in PL/SQL
- Experience configuring and maintaining highly scalable environments
- Knowledge in Oracle Backup/Recovery Methodologies and Strategies
Independent position requires excellent organizational skills
Ability to communicate with upper level management on client site
Handling periods of high stress
Ability to multi-task
