Epicor | CRS Retail Solutions Division is the leading provider of real-time store and multi-channel management solutions for today?s innovative retailers who want to optimize each customer touch point across all sales channels including store, online and catalog operations.

We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator with 15 or more years experience. The successful candidate will be part of a DBA team responsible for supporting the company?s data and database-related needs. The position will combine development and production-support responsibilities. This position interacts with CRS staff including project managers, programmers, quality assurance testers, help desk support personnel, as well as customers? technical staff.

Responsibilities Include:Technical Lead for DBA staff membersMaintenance of Logical/Physical Data ModelsPhysical Database ImplementationDatabase Performance TuningDatabase-related support for Application Developers and CRS customersDevelop, Review and Performance Tune complex SQL queriesInstallation/Upgrade of Database and Client software (Oracle, SQL Server) Installation/Upgrade of CRS Product databases on Windows, UNIX/Linux platforms

Requirements:4 year degree in related area and/or equivalent experienceExperience in Oracle database support Experience with Data Modeling tools, preferably ERwinKnowledge of UNIX/Linux, SQL Server, Informix, a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsGood analytical skills a must
