Job summary

Seeking a senior engineer with at least 5 years of experience and a strong embedded background to design, implement, and test the firmware for a new generation of networked intelligent clients. These clients perform such functions as HVAC control, environmental sensing, and lighting control.

Qualified candidates should have technical expertise in several of the following areas: Embedded Design Techniques, JAVA, JAVA CDC Personal Profile, Embedded Linux, TCP/IP Networking, C/C++ programming, and object oriented design. Candidates should also have experience with: SNMP, Embedded Storage Methods, and Fault Tolerant Design Practices.

Summary of essential job functions

The candidate will architect, implement, test, and deploy the required firmware. The engineer will work closely with diagnostic engineers and embedded application developers. The engineer will be responsible for setup/maintenance of software build environment related to firmware development.

Minimum requirements

BSEE/CS or equivalent experience is required. At least 5 years experience required
