Senior Java Engineer

We are looking for self-motivated, dynamic, and experienced Java Engineers to join our development team as we continue our tremendous growth.  The successful individuals will contribute significantly to the architecture, development and maintenance of our software solutions while mentoring other engineers.

 

REQUIREMENTSDetailed knowledge of Java and its major componentsUnderstanding of Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming conceptsAt least 5 years experience developing web applications using J2EE with at least 2 years in an Architect/Team Leader roleExperience with at least one of the following J2EE Application Servers: JBoss, WebLogic, or WebSphere; JBoss preferredStrong knowledge of J2EE presentation-layer technologies including JSP and JSP Tag Libraries, JSTL and Struts TaglibsStrong knowledge of J2EE business component technologies Working experience with at least one of the following Java IDEs: Eclipse, WSAD, Forte, or JBuilder; Eclipse 3.1 preferredThorough knowledge of SQL and working experience with a major RDBMS such as SQL Server 2000 or Oracle; SQL Server 2000 preferredWorking knowledge of AJAXExperience with web application development framework such as Apache Struts or Spring Experience with XML technologies, including DOM, SAX2, XPATH and XSLTHTML, DHTML, CSS, advanced JavaScriptWorking experience in JUnit, Ant, XDoclet and CVS/SVNKnowledge of basic Linux command line programs Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and training skills withability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
