Senior Java Swing Application Developer

Fast-growing Boulder based enterprise software company is looking for a Senior Java Swing Application Developer who will contribute to the design, development and testing of an important Enterprise Systems Management product. This is a technically demanding and interesting project utilizing J2EE architecture. Senior level J2EE engineering experience, UI design experience and excellent communications skills are essential. You will be part of a small, fast-moving development group with extensive experience in the domain.

Must be experienced with advanced elements of Swing such as: tables, trees, advanced layout managers, menus, split panes, multi-row table headers, drag and drop, tree-tables, etc. Experience designing Swing UIs which follow conventional standards of MS Windows applications.

Your ability to learn, adapt and grow into new areas of expertise is more important to us than what you have done in the past, however, for this position you must already be a well established Senior Java developer. You should also be prepared to demonstrate some of your past work in Java and to provide a code sample.

Responsibilities:
? Application design, coding, and implementation of Java client components.
? Integration of new components into existing codebase
? Work with a small team of developers
? Respond to customer queries and problems
? When appropriate, respond to production support issues

Requirements:
? 3+ years of Swing development experience
? 5 years of Java experience, EJB and J2EE
? Proven experience developing applications using Java 2, AWT, Swing, J2EE, and other technologies for client and server implementation
? Proven experience with Web Application Servers (Tomcat, JBoss, etc.)
? Proven experience of database & SQL concepts, practices, and procedures
? Excellent oral and written communication skills
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is a plus
? AJAX experience would be nice to have
