Senior MIS Engineer

Red Robin is seeking a high-energy individual to fill the position of Senior MIS Engineer.  This position will be responsible for administering and maintaining Microsoft Exchange 2003 environment. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

? Administration of Microsoft Exchange 2003 environment.  Maintaining reliability, performance, backups, users and groups.

? Administer Windows 2003 Active Directory environment

? Administer routers, firewalls, and access control systems for network access

? Administers Network Security and Monitoring

? Administer storage area network environment for data storage

? Administer and develop VMWare environment for test/dev and production

? Must respond quickly and effectively to support requests (performance and availability of network systems)

? Responsible for Network performance including identification of performance issues



 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



 

Education

 
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

? Associate?s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
Microsoft Certified Professional is preferred.

 

Experience

 

? 5 ? 7 years of experience in Exchange database administration, development and maintenance

? 5 ? 7 years of demonstrated proficiency with MS Active Directory

? 5+ years of demonstrated proficiency working with network access control concepts and

 principals.

? Experience in a Team Leadership role, working with and supervision of other team members
 5+ years of demonstrated proficiency with network storage environments

Supervisory Responsibility

 
Often serves as team leader for development and projects related to Exchange infrastructure and software. 

 

Working Conditions

 
Based at Denver Corporate Office
Limited domestic travel
