Senior Oracle DBA - Internal Subject Matter Expert
Thompson Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Oracle DBA for Full Time Salaried position with a stable and established Corporation in the Hampton / Newport News, VA area (great area an hour from VA Beach and Excellent Schools!). We are specifically seeking a Oracle Database Administration Subject Matter expert that not only can work on the day to day Oracle Responsibilities, but can assess the big picture as it relates the organizations Enterprise Oracle Database environment.
Candidates with a background in Systems Consulting (ie?Big 4, Integration Consulting companies) is preferred.
This role is for a SENIOR Oracle DBA. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of Oracle DBA experience and be extremely well-versed in UNIX administration, Windows administration, networking, PL/SQL, scripting languages, and all facets of Oracle technology through at least version 9i. Our client is currently in an Oracle 10g / RAC environment and interfacing with multiple ERP Systems.
