Description:

As a Senior Product Manager in charge of Enterprise Products at Visto, you will be responsible for defining market requirements for our award-winning mobile products. You will own enterprise product specific strategy, vision, positioning, roadmap, defining priorities and  be involved in tactical execution of the products,  through its lifecycle. You will be both increasing profitability of our existing product line as well as developing new products.

 

You must possess a combination of business and technical expertise, and a vision of where the mobile market is headed. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with engineering managers and program managers to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, driving product positioning, key benefits, and target customer definition. You will also serve as evangelist for the product offering, occasionally working with sales and key customers. You will work closely with the marketing, sales, and channel managers and partners to present Visto?s products to our customers and end users. You?ll work closely with corporate marketing to help drive marketing campaigns and programs.

?  In depth understanding of enterprise software and technologies especially Microsoft Exchange, IBM Domino and Notes

?  Awareness of the market trends and competitor's strategy

Responsibilities include:

? Own Visto Enterprise Products

? Drive the product vision

? Specify market requirements

? Manage the product life-cycle

? Drive execution by working with Development, Program Management and Quality Assurance

? Forge and drive partnerships with enterprise software vendors, VARs and systems integrators to mobile enable their products, integrate with Visto products and ensure interoperability

? Keep abrest of supported 3rd party product roadmap and releases and proactively address interoperabiflity issues and new opportunities

? Support pre-sales activities to various wireless operators and large enterprises

? Work with Marketing to define go-to-market plans and ongoing marketing plans

? Coordinate device specific launches

 

Educational Requirements:

? BS/BA in technical or business

? MBA is preferred 

 

Required Skills & Experience:

? 4 to 6 years experience in the software product management

? Minimum 2 years experience managing enterprise software products targeted

? Experience working with Microsoft Exchange and IBM Domino groupware products

? Good communication skills required

? Leadership skills to coordinate cross functional teams 

 

Bonus Points for:

? In depth experience with Microsoft .NET and Web Services

? Experience working with enterprise IT and enterprise users to determine their needs and develop solutions

? Experience with wireless applications specifically wireless messaging and enterprise mobile applications preferred

? Experience with SSA, FFA, and enterprise device management
