Senior Programmer Analyst - Amisys

Covenant Health, one of East Tennessee?s largest and most comprehensive health systems, is currently accepting applications for a Senior Programmer Analyst - Amisys at Cariten/PHP in Knoxville, TN. Cariten/PHP is a provider-owned 600,000 member managed care organization with a provider network of more than 7,500 physicians and 60 hospitals. Knoxville is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the southeast. This challenging position is responsible for the development and implementation of complex Amisys projects; providing a single point of contact for those projects. Ensures that technical and functional aspects of applications are operating correctly and available for all Cariten Health/PHP users.

 

Requirements:
Amisys software experience required, as well as Unix, Oracle, SQL.

(Applications must have Amisys programming experience to be considered)
BS in related field and six to ten+ years of related (healthcare) insurance & programming experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
IT project management experience required.
