Senior Programmer / Architect

Our solutions, assist organizations to better track, manage and report on their chemicals and hazardous materials, including nuclear and biological.  EnvironMax integrates leading edge Oracle-based, web-enabled database technologies to meet the needs of government and commercial enterprises in complying with EPA, OHSA, state, local and public chemical and hazardous material concerns.  The EnvironMax solution promotes full life-cycle tracking and management of all chemicals and hazardous materials.  With absolute control from purchase, through issue, use, reuse, and right up to disposal, EnvironMax reduces not only purchase expenditures, but personnel exposure and tracks and reduces the use and creation of waste stream products.  The resulting up-front savings can be significant.  Our customers have reported greater than a 5:1 first year return on investment based on savings achieved in material purchasing. General Responsibilities

 

Lead a team to architect a web-delivered, SOA-based application using industry acceptable techniques and standards.  Be able to quickly learn and develop new technologies in order to improve existing processes or overcome new challenges. 

 

Requirements / Qualifications

 

?  8+ years including Java application architecture experience, web application design/development, SCEA (or equivalent) certification.

?  Strong mentoring abilities

?  Strong Database experience

?  HTML, Java Script and XML experience

?  Environmental or chemical management application experience a plus.  Desire strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.

?  Excellent troubleshooting skills
