Senior Programmer-.Net, C#
The primary responsibility for this position is software development for an internally developed application. The position requires working on aspects of software development. Candidates must possess excellent software development and troubleshooting skills on the Microsoft platform (including IIS) with an emphasis on Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET and C# and MSC++, MFC, ATL.
Education and/or Experience
* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years experience as a software engineer
designing/developing object-oriented,client/server applications.
* Minimum of 5 years experience developing software applications with
object-oriented programming (OOP) tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio.
Significant recent experience with Microsoft VS.NET (C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET and Web Services)is required.
* Minimum of 3 years experience with the design, development and support of software applications on the Microsoft platform. Recent experience with Windows Server 2000/2003 and and IIS.
* Minimum of 2 years experience with relational database design and development.
Primary areas of interest include:
* SOAP/Web-service interface
* XML based data binding
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* Strong communications and documentation skills
* Highly motivated and committed to success of the individual and the team
* Experience in hardware communications interfaces via serial port, COM port, TCPIP, etc. connections
