The MRO Software office in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to test MRO Software's software products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Build and execute test case documents per approved QA processes and standard operating procedures. Detect, log, and regression test issues under the direction of more experienced personnel. Setup and maintain test environments and configurations. Contribute actively on cross-functional teams, bringing input back to QA department. Work with various members of P&T organization to understand complete inner dynamics of assigned testing area and apply learning of each test effort. Work with various members of the organization, such as Support and Professional Services, to troubleshoot various application issues in specified area of concentration.

Job Requirements:

4+ years hands on Quality Assurance experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of testing methodologies and planning. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in both a team structure and as an individual contributor. Strong capability to meet deadlines. Excellence in technical analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of internet technology and electronic commerce. Working knowledge of Windows, UNIX, and LINUX technologies. Knowledge of Oracle and SQLServer databases; DB2 a plus. Experience with automated testing tools, i.e. Mercury Winrunner. Knowledge of Application Servers (BEA WebLogic, IBM Websphere). Knowledge of Web Server technology (IIS, Tomcat JSP Server). Basic Java/JRE setup experience. Basic HTML/JSP/XML experience. Basic Networking knowledge (TCP/IP)
