Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA)

For a growing software company in Cambridge, MA, we are searching for a hands-on, seasoned QA professional to contribute to and lead the testing of complex Windows-based communications and transaction processing software. The position reports to the company?s Director of Software Engineering.

 

Requirements: 5+ years software industry experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior, hands-on QA capacity. It is critical that we find a person that has strong technical skills in the following areas: Microsoft-based application software development environments, SQL Server, and Microsoft operating systems (NT, XP etc.). You must have experience with the entire software development life cycle and feel very comfortable with white box as well black box testing. In addition to strong leadership and communication skills, the right candidate will feel at ease writing tests scripts and executing tests scripts. This is the company?s first permanent QA hire ? the potential or interest in eventually becoming a QA manager is a plus.
