Senior Quality Assurance Software Engineer

Duties and Functions:

 

This position is responsible for:Working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.  Exercising judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.  Exhibiting functional expertise, works on complex problems requiring a high level of ingenuity and creativity gained through years of practical experience.  Contributing to the development of new principles, theories and methods.  Working independently with minimal direction from manager. Providing technical leadership to less experienced professional staff, as either a generalist or specialist within area of expertise.  .

 

Required Qualifications:BS with 6+ years experience in product planning and working knowledge of evaluation methods in the design, development, and debugging of software programs; 4-6 years experience with an MSPrevious Software Quality Assurance in a client/server application.  Strong functional level tester with manual and automated test tool background.  Knowledge of Windows, Solaris, and HP environments necessary.  4+ years experience in a software testing role.

 

Additional Considerations:SQL query knowledge beneficial.  Telecom experience useful, but not required.
