Senior Quality Engineer

Position Summary:


This is a Senior level programmer test engineer position in the Dreamweaver QE group.  The engineer will formulate test strategies based on architecture, develop detailed automation suites, use design and code coverage analysis to evaluate testing coverage, and collaborate with other QE members on test execution.  Must be able to perform complex defect isolation and analysis, and develop creative, original solutions to challenging problems.  Primary responsibility is development and maintenance of test automation suite for Dreamweaver.  May also work on test automation for extensibility API, and unit testing framework and implementation. 

Knowledge & Skills:


Previous experience developing test automation frameworks and harnesses for commercial software GUI, and API.  Previous experience working with unit testing harnesses desired.  Expert knowledge with Silktest and 4Test language required.Must have experience declaring new window classes; writing new methods and verification properties; testing non-standard (custom) objects; developing an API for supporting custom objects, and developing a test harness and scripts that can be leveraged for localization testing.

10+ years object-oriented programming experience developing test automation for large applications (preferably shrink-wrap software) for Windows and/or Mac OS platforms.  Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proactive about working with others.  Candidate should have intermediate to advanced HTML and XML knowledge. Java scripting skills desired.  Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies.  Previous experience with Dreamweaver, and Adobe products, or similar technologies desired.
