iSystems (Colchester, VT), an innovator and developer of state of the art employer services solutions, is looking for an experienced Software Architect with at least 5 years of related experience to participate in UML modeling and subsequent re-design of our multi-tier financial software package for the period of 2 years. An ideal candidate must possess strong problem solving, analytical and design skills, be motivated, creative, and be able to work with little supervision. A degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required as well as the following skill set:
- Strong experience in systems analysis and functional design
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming techniques
- RDBMS design
- Proficiency with use cases and business rules
- Strong UML experience
- Meeting facilitation skills
- Ability to present ideas and information in group settings
