Senior Software Engineer - Exciting Company with competitive salary and benefits!

We are looking for a result-oriented creative individual to be part of our strong software engineering team. This individual will play an active role in all aspects of software development, from gathering functional requirements, creating technical designs, and implementations to release. Requires 5+ years of software development experience on Internet commerce applications using Java, SQL, and J2EE technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as the ability to develop concepts into solid solutions.

 

Technical/Professional Knowledge/Skills:5+ years development experience with Java/J2EE Must be proficient in front-end technologies including JSP, Struts, Tiles and JavaScript. Experience developing for J2EE application servers such as Weblogic, Websphere and Tomcat is a must. Proficient with standard Java development tools, including ANT, log4J and Junit. Strong knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL is required Familiarity with Windows, Linux and Solaris environments Knowledge with technologies such as AJAX and AXIS is a plus Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and to translate functional requirements into technical design and prototypes

Essential Education and Experience:Minimum of five years experience in software development using the above technologies is a must. BS/CS required or relevant experience.
