Position: Senior Software Engineer

Reporting to the Director of Development, the ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and writing production code for the StatCom applications and is expected to be able to analyze requirements and take responsibility for implementing the features to completion.

Job RequirementsGifted software developer who is comfortable with the entire development life cycle.Positive attitude, intellectually honest and a team player.Self starter with the ability to quickly learn with limited training. Ability to assist in performing design and code reviews. Ability to write technical design documentation and specifications.Experienced in developing Middleware/ N-Tier applications

Must have 5+ years of Java experience in the following technologies: Java, JSP, J2EE, Servlets, HTML, Javascript, XML; Actionscript is a plus Oracle, SQL Windows, UNIX, LinuxMulti-Threading Distributed High Availability SoftwareObject Oriented DevelopmentUsing Design PatternsWeb Technologies (JSP, Struts, ActionScript, HTML, etc)Open SourceUML
