Senior Software Engineer - JAVA/.NET/AJAX

We are a small consulting firm focusing on Java and .NET based AJAX and Flex development. We are growing and are looking for the best developers in Utah. If you are looking to work on fun projects and understand the web like never before, please apply.

 

The successful applicant will fill one of two basic profiles:

 

1. AJAX/.NET programmer with significant browser experience in both DHTML and javascript. XSL and XSLT are a plus. You must be "at home" in the browser, have experience debugging javascript and with html layout using CSS and STYLES.

 

2. Java / J2EE programmer. Enjoys working in large systems, and wants to produce quality code.  You will also have a firm grasp of java web frameworks and have significant experience creating web apps.

 

We are looking for the following skills:

 AJAX / HTML / CSS / Javascript (2-3 years) Web application Java and J2EE experience (spring, hibernate, xml, javamail) (2-3 years) XSL/XSLT Stylesheets, dynamic HTML generation (1 Yr)C# / .NET (1-2 Yrs )ASP (1 Yr)Either SQL Server or OracleMacromedia Flex (optional)XMPP (optional)

 

Work will take place at our premises in Provo, UT. More experienced people may have the opportunity to work independently and productively from home with your own equipment and high speed internet connection.

Our current projects include a heavy AJAX/XSL/XSLT project, a C#/.NET project utilizing SQL Server on the back end, and a video enabled email product written in Java. We utilize the latest technologies to enhance the overall web user experience. Working with us will help you gain experience in important and new technologies that are at the forefront of web development.

 



Either Computer Science Graduates or Master's students would be acceptable.


This is a contract position with no benefits. Pay will vary depending on experience. The possibility exists for full-time employment in the future.
