Senior Software Engineer - Modem Design, Embedded Software
Role Member of team designing next generation modems. Will be responsible for implementing a physical layer technology on prototype platforms. Will be implementing scaleable software using C, C++, and object oriented design.
Skills/Experience
Sr. Embedded Software Engineer - DSP or Embedded Processors
Requires extensive experience in design, development, and integration of PHY and MAC layers for wireless base stations, phones, data terminals or modems. Candidate must have strong background in embedded software design on Digital Signal Processors or embedded processors. Must have hands-on experience in implementation of real-time software. Expertise in embedded software design, real-time operating systems, device drivers, and hardware-software interfaces needed. Strong C development skills required. Knowledge of wireless protocols such as CDMA 2000 1xRTT, 1xEVDO, 802.11 is preferred. Experience with of object oriented design philosophy, C++, and networking stack (TCP/IP) stack is preferred.

Education Requirements
Master's degree or equivalent experience is required.
