Senior Software Engineer with Growing Technology Company

We are looking for a highly skilled client/server and web developer strong in VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and SQL Server.

Qualifications:

VB.NET and Other Languages --Solid experience in VB.NET, Visual Basic 6, ASP, PHP, VB Script, Javascript, ADO, COM/COM+/DCOMDesired experience in Crystal Reports, XML, EDI, MS AccessAdvanced VB performance tuning skills.

 

SQL Server and Other Databases--Strong SQL Server experience including development, optimization, and maintenance of stored procedures and triggersStrong experience in SQL replication and other advanced SQL Server concepts requiredMaintains database performance by completing SQL performance tuning; supporting system operation cycle; coordinating requirements and actions between applications and operating area staffs; monitoring standards; modifying system documentation; designing and conducting training in data management and transformation.Desired experience in MySQL

 

Programming and Other Job Knowledge --Working knowledge of software development fundamentals.Hands-on background in full-cycle Windows developmentMeets programming standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying work process improvements; implementing new technology.Ability to handle complex technical problems through analysis, research, and problem-solving skillsStrong desire to be a leading edge contributor in a team environmentDemonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.Maintains painstaking attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks.Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and documented code.Excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate well with prospects and customers as well as with the internal development team and managementDegree in Computer Science/MIS or equivalent work experienceWorking knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system environments

 

MUST HAVE at least 5 years of software development experience to be considered for this position.
