Senior Software QA Engineer (588)

Provide Embedded Software QA for multiple projects or product lines. Create, develop and execute test plans and test cases. Create and maintain test scripts and tools; train other QA engineers to run the tools. Lead one or more interns or coops in the execution of tests and analysis of test results. Develop ways to automate and expedite existing manual tests. Work directly with development and customers to resolve bugs.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of QA practices and procedures. Meticulous attention to detail while working in timely and efficient manner. Proven history of successfully creating and implementing test automation scripts. Some experience using office equipment including scanners, printers, photo copiers and fax machines. Sound people skills. Able to work effectively in an environment of competing requirements. Experience with some of the following would be plusses:

Ethernet/Wireless printing/Network printing Image processing. Digital camera and memory card interfaces and applications Embedded processing Testing of embedded software development tools (SDK's)

Japanese language proficiency would also be a plus.

Experience Required:

Minimum 4 years experience in QA environment. In depth experience with test automation required. BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
