Senior / Staff Automation and ASIC Engineer

Position Description
Work as a member of a small team on all aspects of the design and implementation. Responsible for the testing and integration of Lightspeed?s database with front end ASIC design tools. Additional responsibilities include increasing automation and robustness of porting Lightspeed?s IP (Intellectual Property) blocks to new process nodes or foundries, and specifying and implementing architecture variants.

Required Skills & Experience
? BSEE (MSEE preferred)
? 5+ years experience in high-performance CMOS design
? Experience with RTL; Verilog coding, logic design, and synthesis experience
? Experience with PrimeTime
? Very comfortable scripting small tasks dynamically using modern high-level languages such as XML or Perl
? Experience with Java/C/C++ coding
? Hands-on team player able to work in a start up environment
? Good documentation and communication skills


Desired Skills & Experience
? Experience with maintaining 3rd party Design Tools
? Experience in DFT, Scan, BIST, RAMBIST
? Experience in Physical Design (Place, Route, Timing)
