 Job Description

 

Member of a team maintaining and enhancing custom production systems for large scale banking and business clients. Support team members become involved during a product?s development and quality assurance phases and then take over as a client's primary contact for support issues ranging from critical situations to small-to-medium scale changes and enhancements. Assignments are shifted as client demands change.

 

Team members analyze, plan, execute, document, and deliver solutions to client problems either on their own or in consultation with colleagues in and out of the support team.

 

Support team members are responsible for maintaining a close relationship with their technical correspondents both within the company and at the client, including participating in regular conference calls, updating issue lists, following up on problem resolutions, and making occasional onsite visits. Good communication skills are a must here, including the ability to exercise both business judgment and diplomacy.

o  At least five years in application development as a programmer using ASP, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, and Crystal Reports.

o  Experience with J2EE, Java, XML. And C++

o  A Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in a related subject.

o  SQL knowledge is required, ORACLE or MS/SQL in particular. Knowledge of views, stored procedures, triggers.

o  Currently be eligible to work in the United States.

 Valuable additional experience includes

 

o  Work at a call center or help desk.

o  Work in the banking, cash management or other electronic payments applications.

o  Basic knowledge of Database Administration in either ORACLE or MS/SQL.

o  Working knowledge of J2EE Application Server Administration, specifically Web Sphere, Web Logic, or Oracle AS.
