Senior Systems Administrator

Responsible for administration and support of computer systems; resolving more complex issues regarding operations, installations, setups, error messages, on-line transactions, system status and downtime procedures. Maintain and troubleshoot server systems, including off-hours support. Provide technical support to customers for server provided services. Monitor the server environment, including, but not limited to, availability, threshold alarms, backups, security advisories, and take actions as necessary. Install, configure and test hardware and software server products as necessary to provide services to customers, internal and external. Upgrade server environment. Project Manages larger projects; 40-80 Hrs. (i.e. Lifecycle management, Technical lead for new client requests, facilitate departmental process improvements). Develop and maintain technical documentation. Creates, documents, and implements department process and procedures. Mentors Associate and Technical analysts in department.
5 yrs experience, MSCE/CCNA preferred.
