Senior Unix Developers: Responsibilities

' All positions involve development of real-time transaction processing applications for the trading systems on the exchange floor.
' Candidates will work in small teams (2-8 developers) on mission-critical applications in a formal environment (formal design and review, formal code reviews, formal test script development and testing environment). Candidates will participate in all phases of applications development.
' Development supports the production environment for problem resolution and floor configuration. Interaction with the customer and external departments is required.

Experience requirements:

8+ years of development experience. Must have acted as lead developer on multiple projects. Should have good design skills and preferably experience in a business/analyst role.

Technical Requirements:

' Solaris, SUN OS, or HP UNIX experience
' Excellent Computer Science skills.
Experienced in the formal data structures (linked-lists, hash tables, etc.)
' Excellent 'C' programming skills.
' Experience with mid to large scale application development in a 3-tier or n-tier client-server environment.
' Transaction processing or real-time message based processing experience.
