As a Senior Web Developer, you will have hands-on responsibility for technology selection, design and implementation of our Web 2.0 application. As a Senior Web Developer, you will report to our VP of Engineering, an industry veteran with experience from AT&T Labs, AOL and Yahoo! Prior experience developing web-based applications using AJAX, DHTML and JavaScript will enable you to hit the ground running. Also, good understanding of object oriented programming and server side web technologies (HTTP and CGI scripting) is important. In addition to technical skills, a good eye and strong instincts for user interface will serve you well. You will be working on equal footing with product management for the definition of crisp and delightful user interactions. Exposure to PHP development would be ideal, but not a requirement. Success in this role will mean creating a seamless application usable in any browser that is free of long latencies and bugs. Strong analytical skills will be instrumental to your success in diagnosing issues and solving problems that arise.
