Senior Web Developer

This position balances strategic thought and planning with day-to-day management of detailed tasks and projects related to the TrendMicro.com internet site. This position will be Instrumental in understanding and contributing to the overall web and ecommerce direction for the company, driving ecommerce and web-related projects, as well as day-to-day web improvements and updates.  Duties include understanding and contributing to the overall usability and information architecture of the website, understanding the site infrastructure and back-end systems, and backing up the Webmaster.  This position will participate in website and ecommerce planning, and will work with external vendors to execute web and ecommerce projects.

 

- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in web development, content management systems, HTML, and ecommerce and/or emarketing, preferably with internet or software companies focusing on consumer and/ or small and medium business. 
- Experience managing outside vendors and working with multiple internal and external constituents.
- Excellent team work and communication skills (oral and written) required. 
- Foreign language skills and experience working in and with other cultures a strong plus.
- Undergraduate degree, training in software or web development a plus, MBA desirable
