Senior Windows Application Programmer

Opportunity :

Applied Weather Technology (AWT) a well-established California corporation that provides weather related services to a wide range of customers in the marine industry looking to hire a Senior Windows Application Programmer

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain AWT's graphical marine weather visualization/routing system

- Additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

- 7+ years of Windows Application Development

- Expert knowledge of Win32 API programming (SDK, not MFC), in particular, the Graphics Device Interface (GDI)

- Extensive experience in C/C++ application programming

- Must be willing to work on existing code base

- Hands-on experience with COM is a plus

- Geospatial software development & integration is a plus

- Good analytical and problem-solving skill

- Excellent communication skill
