Server/Storage Engineer
Job Description: We are currently looking for a Storage/Server Engineer with 5-7 years of experience. This individual would manage the Storage environment (Netbackup, Backup Exec, NSI Double Take, McData Switches, HDS, EMC, STK SANS and STK Tape silo). Also responsible to build, maintain and support Wintel/UNIX servers and some server based applications.
Requirements:
-Experience with Veritas/Symantec Netbackup, NSI Double Take
-Experience in the support, maintenance, design and building of Wintel server environments
-Strong server security hardening and vulnerability patching skill set required
-Experience with UNIX (Solaris/AIX) adding users, backups
-Strong organization skills and ability to work with minimal direction
-Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Essential Knowledge:
-Windows 2000/2003, Active Directory, Exchange 2003
-Hardware support HP/Compaq/IBM/Dell server hardware
-Veritas Netbackup version 6.x
-Disaster Recovery
-SAN experience, disk and tape EMC/HDS/STK
-Server builds
-Patch management
