Server side C++/Unix developer needed NOW!! - 125K

Our client is a leader in the wireless GPS technology industry. Due to a recent wave of new products that have been overly successful, new products are now in HIGH demand. In this regard, they now have an urgent need for a Sr. Software Developer.

To be considered for this position, you must have at least 5+ years hands-on development experience in a commercial software server development environment. Experience w/all phases of product development lifecycle, including prototyping, development, test, product release and sustaining engineering.
- Extensive experience in C or C++. Experience with Python is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle or Postgres. Experience with PL/SQL is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of UNIX operating systems, including Solaris and Linux for development and basic administration. Experience with FreeBSD is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of XML, threads, and debugging practices.
- Deep understanding of best practices in server application security and TCP/IP development
- Desire to engage in extremely challenging assignments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong collaborative skills.
- Self-managed proactive work style and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Bachelor?s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
