Description
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of interactive media and television. You will work with publishers, programmers, TV networks, filmmakers and producers of all sizes to help them deliver Internet TV services. You will join a talented team of software, web and media veterans from companies such as Allaire, ATG, Comcast, Macromedia, Lycos and News Corp., led by the company's founder and Internet pioneer Jeremy Allaire.
Brightcove is looking for an experienced developer to work with large media companies. Ideal candidate will be an experienced ActionScript 2.0 developer with deep experience using XML and web scripting languages. Experience with Internet video formats, advertising platforms, web analytics packages and content management systems a plus.
Responsibilities
? Build custom player experiences using ActionScript 2.0
? Integrate players with advertising platforms
? Create XML translations to enable batch uploads to the Brightcove system
? Integration custom experiences with web analytics software
Required Background and Skills
? 3+ years ActionScript 2.0 development experience
? Deep experience using XML, XSL
? Knowledge of Internet video, web analytics, advertising platforms
