Snapfish -- HP's fast-growing online photo service -- is looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst to join our team.  The successful candidate has at least 2-4 years experience creating and managing complex database queries.  This person should have good analytical skills as well as the ability to communicate well with others.  This is an ideal position for a candidate with a mixture of both technical and business/financial experience.  The position will report to the Snapfish Finance Director and will work closely with finance, engineering, marketing, product, and operations groups.

 

Job Responsibilities:
Define, write, and manage complex database queries for a variety of Snapfish purposes (financial, marketing, operations, customer, etc.)
Work with Snapfish development and site operations teams to maintain, automate, and troubleshoot database queries and reports
Prepare periodic reports for Snapfish finance, operations, marketing and other key Snapfish groups
Document data reporting requirements for Snapfish product development cycle

 


2-4 years experience writing and managing queries in SQL and PL/SQL (experience with large database-driven web sites or applications is desired)
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Very strong analytical skills with ability to structure and perform complex queries
Understanding of basic business and financial concepts a plus
Attention to detail, good follow through, and organization skills
Highly motivated team player with good communication skills
Ability to work across organizational boundaries
Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
Ideal candidate would have additional experience and deeper skills in either business analytics or database management (position will provide opportunities to expand in either direction)
