Software Applications Lead
Job Purpose:
Lead software application projects in a mid-scale IT environment.
Qualifications:
? Education: Four year degree or equivalent experience; technical degree preferred.
? Experience: Must have experience leading software development teams in medium scale IT environment. Practical experience working with multiple projects, utilization of Project Management methodologies (PMI) and leading software development project teams.
? Skills: Experience with the following programming languages: JAVA, Oracle, C++ or C#, Powerbuilder. Previous successful experience leading software design and development for IT projects. Minimum of two years experience supervising technical staff. Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and customer relation skills, as well as strong analytical, quantitative, and documentation skills. Working knowledge of Project Management methodologies applicable to Software Development. Excellent technical documentation and presentation skills required.
? Duties:Provide supervisory direction to approximately eight technical staff while providing oversight and management of Software Development group and projects in medium scale IT environment. Assist customer technical management with input, planning, and status on all IT projects.
