Software Architect

Growing Baton Rouge based company is searching for a talented self starter who wants to work for a cutting edge company. This exciting opportunity will allow you to be an important member of a team of talented individuals.

Responsible for the following:The analysis and design of system architecture for solutions, documents and represents the system architecture of the project. Ensuring system level component reuse and use of inter-project synergies. May also design and implement systems. Collaborate with project manager to determine scope of iterations and schedules. Ensure that implemented technical solutions actually follows planned architecture.

Experience:Experience developing database driven Windows and Web applications with Microsoft .NET and Visual Studio using C#, ADO.NET and COM.Experience with XML, SQL Server 2000, T-SQL and Stored Procedures.Experience with TeleAtlas and/or ESRI GIS products and data is a plus.5+ years experience with software development of large information systems.

Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Qualifications:Familiarity with OOD principles, design patterns and UML.Familiarity with agile development processes.Ability to design and architect solutions based on requirement specifications.Microsoft related certifications (MCP, MCAD, MCSD) a plus.
