Software Assurance Engineer – Join A Fascinating Communications Company

We have the opportunity for you to work for a leader in the Military Communications Market.  In this position, you will be an integral part of our team by providing key software testing and validation of our products to assure that they meet client requirements.  Tactical Communications Group (TCG) designs and develops cutting edge technologically advanced software applications and systems for integrating Tactical Data Links (TDLs) into both legacy and new combat platforms

 

The overall objective of this position is to ensure the adherence of our software development work products standards.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

The responsibilities will encompass all TCG?s product software development.  Some of the key responsibilities include:

 

? Support product assurance (software test), practices, and procedures. 

? Validate that products built by TCG comply with customer requirements.

 Support and help to define strategies for implementing product assurance on a project by project basis.Support developing and implementing TCG?s standard processes for testing software products.Promote software quality principles and processes

 Support the preparation of work plans, and schedules in the production of Test Plans, Procedures and Reports for all phases of qualification testing to include, but not limited to integration, acceptance, and certification.Revise and update actual project performance against plans.Plan and execute software testsWrite concise and clear descriptions of software defects encountered during testing.Track and report on status of test activities.Prepare for and support audits of product assurance work products.

 

 

 

 

 

Education and QualificationsBS in Computer Science or an engineering discipline, or equivalent working experience

 

 Experience and Skills

 Experience as a test analyst.3 or more years experience testing software.Knowledge in the use of tactical datalinks.Ability to work in a team environment and work towards common goals.Strong written, oral, and analytical skills.Strong analytical skills
