Software Database Administrator

QTC is the largest private provider of government-outsourced medical and disability examination services in the nation. We are currently looking for a full-time Software Database Administrator in our Diamond Bar, CA office.

This individual will be responsible for:

Support a fast growing company that relies on its technology to delivery high quality examinations services to federal and state customers.


Software Database Administrator:

Responsible for the delivery of database programming tasks developed with Oracle and MS SQL in support of QTC Healthcare Examination software suite.
Responsible for maintaining a scalable database architecture.
Responsible for following QTC?s software development process which includes but not limited to the automation of key requirements gathered from internal users, providers and key partners that meet defined specs with proper documentation.

Other tasks as assigned

Responsible for the delivery of strategic projects assigned by Dir of S/W Development.
Responsible for the prioritize delivery of programming tasks identified by you and your manager.



Education and Experience:

5 years of database development.
Understanding of the relational model, state machine development, model/view/controller (MVC).
Knowledge of Oracle architecture including processes, memory structures, database components
Understanding of transactions, locking, and concurrency control in Oracle.
Knowledge of SQL and experience developing moderately complex queries.
Knowledge of PL/SQL and experience developing medium/large size applications.
Attention to details and ability to follow coding standards.
COM/DCOM experience a plus
Visual Studio.NET 2003 experience a plus
Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
