Responsibilities
1. Design, develop and maintain automation scripts for functionality with an eye towards scalability and performance.
2. Work with QA team members to identify, analyze, plan, develop, implement and track the automation of manual test scripts.
3. Work with development teams to identify APIs, components and functionality to be used for building test harnesses, and also to debug performance bottlenecks in the application under test.
4. Document test plans, execute tests, track, analyze, document and report test results
5. Assist Performance Test group when appropriate to help identify potential performance and scalability issues.
6. Participate in the review of test plans, estimating test efforts, analyze and communicate test results.
7. Actively assist PM and Dev when needed, as well as mentor and assist other QA team members
8. Review business and functional requirements for consistency and accuracy.
9. Take a proactive roll in the development of new and established test processes and
methodologies.
10. Participate in the day-to-day QA activities of the File & Serve QA team: testing (major, maintenance or hotfix releases), bug tracking and management, regression, etc as appropriate.


Qualifications
? Computer Science degree or 3+ years of equivalent testing experience
? 3+ years exp as QA tester supporting multiple types of software applications: Black box, white box, regression, and integration.
? Experience with load and performance testing a plus.
? 3+ years exp in writing detailed manual test cases
? Experience/ familiarity with a unit testing framework like NUnit or JUnit
? 2+ years experience working with MS SQL Server or comparable DBMS

The SDET is responsible for developing test tools, automation, and more comprehensive unit tests for the File & Serve application. The QA Engineer will work closely with File & Serve?s Development and with this knowledge help the QA team gain efficiencies wherever possible. The SDET will also work closely with Product Management and Operations teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Testing techniques employed may range from manual black box, to automated grey and white box testing.
