Software Design Engineer

We are looking for talented and highly motivated Software Development Engineer (SDE) to drive design, implementation and delivery of major components and features of the next generation Customer Relationship Management tools for the Global Marketing Platform (GMP).

 

As an SDE your duties will include:
Design and development of features for the GMP
Work with onshore and offshore vendors to help deliver current releases and sustained engineering builds to ensure requirements for design, performance, user scenarios are met along with quality code, adherence to MXPS (MSCOM Experience Platform and Solutions) standards and project metrics and making sure these are delivered on time under tight schedules
Attending daily bug triages, issues meetings;
Working closely with PM, Test and other upstream source system teams to address production issues
The preferred candidate will have a proven track record in the following areas: Identifying and implementing engineering best practices; Managing and delivering projects through aggressive schedules; Implementing and maintaining excellent design and development processes.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years experience working with C#
Extensive knowledge of .NET (1.1 and/or 2.0) framework. Strong knowledge of developing web based applications using ASP.Net
Good understanding of OOP design principals
Understanding of XML technologies including XML Schema (XSD), XSLT, XPath, XQuery
Working knowledge of SQL Server (2000 and/or 2005), including the ability to write stored procedures and complex TSQL queries
Good knowledge of relational database design concepts
A Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Experience with HTML, Javascript, AJAX, CSS, a plus
