Responsibilities:

Under minimal direction, performs as a fully experienced Software Developer in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or providing complex enhancements to existing software. Works as part of the technical staff to understand and to develop resolution of software problems. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements. Participates in the development of software user manuals. Assists in the training of less experienced software development staff and may act as a team leader on less complex projects. Under direction from the Project Manager and technical team lead, the selected candidate will be responsible for design/development/integration and coding in Java of this ESRI GIS application with the Oracle portal application. ESRI tools used currently include ARC SDE, ARC GIS Server and ARC IMS. Database tools used will include Oracle, Oracle Portal, Oracle Application Server (9iAS version 2), SQL*Plus, and TOAD for PL/SQL creation.

Requirements:

? Technologies that candidates must possess are Java, PL/SQL, JavaScript and HTML.

? Must have Bachelors degree (in Computer Science or related field) and five to seven years of related experience.

? Minimum 3 years of ESRI experience with 1-2 years of ARC SDE.

? Minimum 1-3 years of Java development experience.

? Minimum 1-2 years of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL experience.

? Experience with full life cycle web application development and rapid prototyping.

? Experience with Oracle Tool is a plus.

? Must have a current Secret security clearance.
