Software Developer, Device Application, Cary - NC
OZ Communications, the leading developer of mobile IM and Email Solutions, is currently seeking Software Developers for its Device Applications team in Cary, North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
? Software design and development for mobile device applications
? Requirements analysis
? Involvement in conception, implementation, and product launch
? Unit testing, issue resolution, documentation
? Interfacing with device vendors, carriers, and portals to integrate technology
? Communication with customers
? Possible travel
Requirements :
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
? Minimum 2 years experience of software development using Java and /or C++
? Experience with data communications, protocols, and embedded environments
? Experience with ClearCase and/or other SW version control system
Assets:
? Experience using mobile environments such as BREW, J2ME, Symbian, Smart Phone, Pocket PC, etc
? Experience with Rational tools (RUP, UML, ClearCase, ClearQuest)
? Experience with mobile technologies such as SMS, MMS, GPRS, GSM, CDMA, SIP, Mobile IP, etc.
? Software design experience with products for telecommunications operators
? Software design experience with Instant Messaging or email products
