Software Developer .NET and SQL

Established Technology Company located on the Nassau/Suffolk border of LI seeks a .NET developer to complement our existing team. 

 

Job specifications include:

 

-Design & develop enhancements to our existing law enforcement applications.

-Evaluate project requirements, contribute in design meetings, help determine the best solution to a problem or feature requirement.

-Provide regular status updates on projects, including progress updates, and identification of technical risks & issues associated with assigned tasks.

-Stay abreast of changes in technology as it relates to software development, and how it may relate specifically to our target industry.

 

Ideal candidates would possess the following technical competencies:

 

-Familiarity with Object-Oriented development techniques

-Windows Forms development (VB.NET and/or C#)

-SQL Server 2000 (table & stored procedure design)

-Visual Studio 2003

-ADO.NET

-.NET Web Services

-XML

 

Also a plus:

 

-Familiarity with distributed / multi-tier applications

-Crystal / Active Reports

-Experience with IIS

-TCPIP / Networking experience

-ASP.NET (web forms)

-Visual Source Safe

-Visual Studio 2005

-SQL 2005

-HTML

-JavaScript

-Java

-C/C++
