Software Developer (Portfolio & Trading)

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing portfolio construction and trading applications, including trade order management, cash management and corporate actions applications. This role may also include integration responsibilities with new commercially available applications.

Responsibilities:Maintain and enhance existing applications written in Borland Delphi. Modify or develop new stored procedures and database schemata associated with these applications. Assist with integration efforts as new trading oriented applications are developed or purchased.  

Qualifications:B.S. in computer science or equivalent. Minimum 10 years software development experience. Minimum 5 years experience with software development in a financial services environment. Prior experience with performance and performance measurement systems required. Must be highly skilled in Visual Basic and C++. Fluent with Crystal Reports. Must have strong expertise with MS SQL Server and Transact-SQL. Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organization skills and detail-oriented. Borland Delphi experience is a big plus, but not a requirement
