BizTalk Developer

Participates in the design and development of robust, fault tolerant integration systems using the BizTalk platform for customers and partners.Essential Functions Participates in building robust, fault tolerant integration systems using the BizTalk platform for customers and partners. Participates in design, development, unit testing, and documentation of integration solutions. Automates trading partner relationships using automated file processing which includes complex file acknowledgements, file mapping and conversion, and document validation. Assists with analyzing the performance of hardware and software interfaces and identifies alternatives for optimizing the usage of computer resources. Applies generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation. Provides second or third level support to production for deployed solutions. Knowledge/SkillsKnowledge of specialized principles or techniques equivalent to that which would normally be obtained through a formal four-year college/university academic program or an in-depth specialized training program directly related to the type of work being performed. Bachelor?s Degree required. Solid Experience developing complex orchestrations. Experience and demonstrated understanding in the configuration and interaction of BizTalk Configuration Objects including Channels, Ports, Document Specifications, Mapping Specifications, Functoids and Receive Functions. Experience utilizing BizTalk Editor and Mapper in the creation and testing of Document and Mapping Specifications with a focus on disassemblers and assemblers for flat files. Knowledge of BizTalk 2004 best practices for installation and configuration preferred. Three to Five years previous experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. UML documentation skills preferred.

 

BizTalk DeveloperResponsible for the design and development of PaySpan application software.  A person in this position is expected to create and maintain applications that are run by internal staff and our customers.Essential Functions

*  Designs and develops application software.

*  Reviews Systems Analysis documentation to produce Technical Specifications.

*  Applies generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and

data manipulation.

*  Participates in testing, debugging and configuring application systems.

*  Produces detailed application design documents and deployment procedures.

?*Analyzes the performance of hardware and software interfaces and identifies optimizations.Knowledge/Skills

1.  Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 5+ years related experience, or  

equivalent combination of education and experience.

2.  .NET development in C# or related programming language, Web development in ASP.NET (including

  CSS, DHTML, Javascript), Database development with ADO.NET against SQL Server (or Oracle, etc.),

 Web Services, Class design, Source control, Visual Studio or similar editors, Visio or similar

  diagramming tool.

3.  Attention to detail and an eye for layout design to create quality documents.

4.  Analytical and organizational skills.

Report Developers

 This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of various custom reports.

 

Essential Functions:

?Design, develop, and test custom reports to meet customers, partners, or internal needs.Track & document changes to reports using version control and other tools or processes.Review output of design process for accuracy.  Make changes as necessary to meet specification and produce professional results.  Troubleshoot output problems in development or production.Work with analysts to define and document report specifications.Utilizes advanced report design tools similar to Seagate's Crystal Reports.Knowledge/Skills

1. Understand internal & external data models as they relate to data-driven report design.

2. Requires an understanding of database structure and the proprietary formats contained therein.

3. Experience with Typeset/Print Layout considered a significant advantage in this position.

4. Experience using Crystal Reports.

5. C# and Javascripting experience.
