We are looking for a talented individual who will be responsible for the design, implementation, and deployment of highly robust, efficient, and scalable solutions to support Data Warehouse processes. 

 

Key Responsibilities are:Translate functional requirements into design and implementation for daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports using PL/SQL and other reporting technologies.Design and implement robust and efficient PL/SQL code to perform Extract / Transform / Load operations.Analyze requirements to determine appropriate Data Warehouse aggregation strategies.  Implement, monitor, and tune these aggregates.Ensure the smooth operation of the Data Warehouse through performance monitoring, tuning, and emergency response.

 

Skills/Requirements/Qualifications:

?  High School or equivalent degree required.

?  College-level degree (Computer Science or Engineering degree strongly preferred), or related area, and/or equivalent training, course work or practical experience.

?  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

?  Strong logic and analytical skills

?  Strong leadership, facilitation and organizational skills

?  Excellent written and verbal communications skills

?  Exceptional understanding of logical and physical database modeling, database maintenance, performance monitoring and performance tuning, particularly using Oracle database technologies

?  Deep understanding of data warehouse dimensional modeling techniques

?  Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions for Data Warehouse processes including ETL, reports, aggregates, and data mining

?  Very strong in SQL and PL/SQL

?  Familiarity with XML

?  Effective troubleshooting skills

?  Ability to manage time spent on multiple projects to meet deadlines
