The Promotions Services team is responsible for building and maintaining the Amazon Promotions Service for all Amazon stores worldwide as well as those of our e-commerce partners. From Super-Saver Shipping to manufacturer's rebates, we provide the technology that allows merchants to promote their goods on line.

We are looking for a can-do candidate to join the Promotions Services team and participate in the design, development, deployment and operational maintenance of the Promotions software - a major component of the shopping experience for Amazon's world-leading eCommerce platform.
Candidates must be innovative, creative, flexible, self-directed, and understand how to design and write high-performance, reliable, maintainable code. Candidate's ability to quickly adapt to new development environments, changing business requirements and learning new systems is critical. Solid communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead a team to deliver successful projects are essential. Candidates are required to be proficient in C/C++, SQL, OOP, UNIX development and distributed computing environments. Familiarity with Perl a plus.? Preference given for candidates with a graduate degree in Computer Science or 5 years of programming experience in an environment related to e-commerce.
Amazon.com is recruiting for Seattle-based opportunities. Relocation to Seattle, WA is required.
