Senior Software Development Engineer

Amazon.com is looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to help build it's Information Management team. The position requires a keen interest in all aspects of the information management space as well as top notch software skills. Are you interested in Search, Security, Knowledge Management, and Web Services? The person who fills this position will lead projects in all those areas.

Amazon.com is a challenging software development environment where open source technologies are leveraged to their fullest. The software you will own is used by thousands of users each day from the packers in the distribution center to the CEO. This diverse user base requires a keen sense for UI and system design. Outstanding knowledge of Java, Perl, and C/C++ in a Linux environment are a must.
